Delivery was on time, item is exactly what it says it does, kid loves weighted blankets and usually kicks and screams in his sleep if the blanket restricts his movement... It was not meant to be. Kid says too scratchy.This has really assisted my son (8 and on the spectrum) with sleeping throughout the night! It is really a good bang for your buck. The material is breathable, soft, smooth and gives just enough tension without completely restricting. I have washed it and it seems durable. We have used it for about a week now and it seems to have corrected his sleep pattern. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a low cost substitution for an expensive, hot weighted blanket at night. I also purchased a set of brushed microfiber sheets (same brand I had bought for myself a few months ago....he seemed to really enjoy the texture and again, super breathable.....So I have combined both products. We received it yesterday and he slept through the night last night!!! I ordered the full size and it fits his full size mattress perfectly. It looks like a mattress sock, where it slides over the end of the mattress and has the same material all around. Other ones had a top sheet with straps for under the mattress, so I prefer this style more. Very happy with this purchase!!I then bought a second one to layer under him, he loves it!My 11-year-old son has autism and has refused to sleep in his own bed for many months- only wants to sleep next to me. He has issues with aggressive behavior and I think having someone next to him soothes him at night. I had him get into his "new super bed" and he immediately loved it. Slept all night in his own bed. I still can't believe it. I should have bought this months ago!I was so hoping this would work for my son. First, it took 3 of us to get it on his memory foam mattress.. My son tried it once for about 15 mins, and that was it. He didnt care for it. So we had to return it.Bought for my 4 yr old grandson. Told him it was a superhero sheet. He gets hot in it - more breathable options for summer. And seams need to be stitched w a stretchy thread - the thread has a tendency to break while putting it on and while he’s in it.Update : after full week of him only lying on top of it , my son now loves sleeping in it and said he’s getting the best sleep . He said he’s cold ( which is relief since normally he sweats ) in it so I added an extra comforter . So he has 2 comforters on top and I also add his beds colorful sheet so he wouldn’t miss his fancy bed sheet . He said it’s really comfortable now and loves it ! Very happy as he can be very difficult to try something new and in this case , it paid off . Thanks for the amazing product :)This product has changed our lives. We have a 14yo with Downs and ASD. He has been sneaking in our bed since he could get out of his crib and walk to our room. Since the 1st night he slept in his bed with this sheet on, he has not slept with us. Even though he still wakes up at times, he stays in his own bed all cocooned in his bed. This has enabled him to cover and uncover himself at will.
