Before we tried this, my 6 year old had not slept through the night in her own bed, not once. This sheet gives her the sensory input she needs to fall asleep and stay asleep for longer periods of time. She wakes up less frequently and now regularly sleeps in her own bed all night. She is a hot sleeper, so I love that this is lightweight. The only con is that it can be somewhat difficult to get onto the mattress -- it's easier with two people, and hard-but-doable with one.I wish I had bought this three years earlier. This has honestly been a game changer for our family.I think it is decent quality, breathable, comfortable. But…we have an 8” foam mattress and this sheet is not very tight. It was fairly easy to get on, which gave me some concern that it would not provide enough compression support…and I was right. It’s fitted, but not really that right around the mattress, or my daughter.We were looking for an alternative to a weighted blanket since it’s hot and she kicks it off. Hoping this was the right solution.She still gets out of bed every night, same as before. Unfortunately I missed the return window, otherwise I would be sending it back.My daughter has autism and sensory processing disorder and this thing is a life saver. She even goes to her bed during the day and lays under it. I absolutely love it.I liked the softness, just wished it covered more (it did not fit from top to bottom for a queen size bed).Seems uncomfortable with elastic edges but my daughter doesn't seem to mind.My son falls asleep almost every night within 20 minutes! I know for most people that might not seem like a big deal to most people but the parents of kiddos with sensory needs, it is huge. He loves the feeling of being squished. The quality is amazing and soft. It’s difficult to get on and off the mattress but that is no where near a deal breaker.This works well for my special needs son. He has never wanted sheets or blankets to cover him since he was very little. We’ve had to heat his room and use an electric mattress pad to keep him warm at night. Surprisingly, he will use this sheet. Sometimes he sleeps on top of it, but he will also chose to get under it.Just be aware that the color bleeds in the wash! Wash separately even though it doesn’t state it.I had wanted to get my son a weighted blanket for a while now but was unsure which one to get. His Occupational Therapist recommended this one and my son really likes it. It is not that easy to get it onto his mattress but once it's there, it's pretty snug.My son is autistic. We tried weighted blankets, but he always ended up kicking it because it was getting too warm. His therapist did suggest to try compression bedsheet. Since we bought this red compression bedsheet, he falls asleep much faster, stays asleep, and seems to wake up more refreshed and even a better attitude! We should have bought this long time ago! It’s a bit complicated to install around the mattress, but it pays off!
