Aim of the game: To get rid of all your cards
How to play: Shuffle the (square) sorting cards and place them face down in a pile in the centre of the table.
Shuffle the round cards and divide them amongst the players:
- 10 cards each for 2 players,
- 9 cards each for 3 players,
- 7 cards each for 4 players.
Each player places their cards face up in front of them. If there are any round cards left, they are removed from the game.
The youngest player starts by turning over the first "sorting" card from the pile and placing it next to it.
- If the card has a white animal, the player can get rid of all their cards with that animal, no matter what the colour.
- If the card has a colour, the player can get rid of all their cards with an animal of that colour, no matter what the animal.
If a player does not have any cards matching the "sorting" card drawn, they cannot play and it is the next player’s turn.
The next player then turns over a card, etc.
NB: When there are no cards left in the pile the used cards are shuffled to create a new pile.
End of the game: The game ends when one of the players has no more cards in front of them: this player is the winner.
