DESCRIPTION
Goal of the game: The goal is to collect as many complete skeletons as possible by trading cards with other players. Djeco Bogoss is a fun and strategic card game where players try to reconstruct complete skeletons while using glow-in-the-dark cards.
How to Play:
Setup:
Shuffle the deck and deal 6 cards to each player.
The remaining cards form a draw pile in the centre
Types of Cards:
Each skeleton is made up of 3 parts:
Head
Torso
Legs
Some skeleton parts are broken while others are intact.
How to Play:
On Your Turn: You can either:
Ask another player for a specific card (e.g., "Do you have a skeleton head?") to complete your set.
Draw a card from the deck if they don’t have what you asked for.
Trading Rules:
You can only ask for a card if you already have at least one part of that skeleton in your hand.
If the player has the requested card, they must give it to you.
If they don’t, your turn ends and you draw a card.
Making a Skeleton:
If you collect all 3 parts of a skeleton (whether broken or intact), you place it down in front of you.
Intact skeletons are worth more than broken ones.
Winning the Game:
The game ends when a player finishes a certain number of skeletons (depending on the number of players).
The player with the most complete and intact skeletons wins!
Strategy Tips:
Watch what others ask for—this can give you clues about their hands.
Decide whether to complete a skeleton with broken parts or wait for intact ones for higher points.
Use the glow-in-the-dark feature in the dark for an extra fun experience!
Joker Cards: Jokers can replace any skeleton part, whether broken or unbroken. You cannot request Joker cards from opponents.
Completing Skeletons: Once you have all parts of a skeleton (either unbroken or broken), place it face-up in front of you.
Winning the Game:
The game ends when a player has laid down two unbroken skeletons or one broken skeleton.
Additional Notes:
Glow-in-the-Dark Feature: To play in the dark, expose all cards to light for several minutes beforehand. In darkness, broken skeleton parts are recognizable by the outline dotted on the picture.
Glow-in-the-Dark Outline Card: Use the large card with a glow-in-the-dark outline to locate the draw pile in the dark. Place the pile face down on this card in the middle of the table.
